Chicago Multi-Day

Students discover fun facts about the Windy City as they learn about Chicago’s history, architecture, and culture during a fully-narrated tour with a certified Chicago guide. You may select a 2, 3, or 4 day itinerary for your Chicago tour. Please contact About Tours for additional information.

Day 1

See the striking skyline, the lakefront, the Magnificent Mile, the historic Loop, quirky outdoor sculptures, and the fabulous new Millennium Park.  Explore Navy Pier, once used for shipping and now an entertainment and shopping complex.  Cruise down the Chicago River for the most unique views of the city. Visit The Field Museum to see Sue, the largest tyrannosaurus rex skeleton ever found, an Egyptian tomb, and much more. Finish the day with a student-friendly dinner.

Day 2

Visit the Federal Reserve Bank, drive past Harpo Studios, where Oprah taped her show, and see the famous Michael Jordan statue at the United Center. See the “Cell”where the World Series Champion White Sox play.  Visit the Museum of Science & Industry with Colleen Moore’s Fairy Castle, the U505 submarine and an IMAX movie. Tour the University of Chicago and the President Barack Obama neighborhood. Discover the Ethnic Neighborhoods of Chicago and stop in Chinatown. Travel in the world’s fastest elevators to the Chicago Skydeck or Hancock Observatory. Enjoy Chicago’s famous deep-dish pizza and finish the day with a show or a baseball game.

Day 3

See amazing creatures at the Shedd Aquarium and the sharks in the aquarium’s Wild Reef.  Find out why the Cubs always lose as you drive around historic Wrigley Field.  Explore the naturalistic exhibits of Lincoln Park Zoo and visit either the Adler Planetarium with its new lunar exhibit, the Art Institute of Chicago to see American Gothic and the miniature Thorne Rooms, the DuSable Museum of African American History or experience a Latin dance class. Your day ends with a live medieval show and dinner, or a roaring twenties musical comedy review and dinner.

Day 4

Visit Six Flags Great America, a world-class family entertainment complex featuring thrill rides, spectacular shows and exciting attractions.
