Depart from O’Hare Airport on Air Canada #516 at 9:30 am. Arrive in Montreal at 12:30 pm. Board your motorcoach and enjoy a city tour with a local guide and a stop at the stunningly beautiful Notre Dame Basilica. Check-in at the Holiday Inn Montreal Midtown, located in the heart of downtown and have time to freshen up before a welcome dinner.

Today will begin with breakfast at the hotel. Tour the Montreal Biodome, built for the 1976 Olympics and home to 4 distinct ecosystems. After lunch on your own in the charming old village of Montreal, tour the Museum of Fine Arts, with a vast collection from ancient to modern. Your evening will be free to explore Montreal’s eclectic dining scene.

Depart for Quebec City by rail, on the renowned VIA Rail with first class service, including breakfast. Upon arrival, tour the Museum of Civilization, one of the most special museums in Canada with its innovative design and exhibits on Quebec history and art from First Nations tribes. Check-in at the Courtyard Marriott Quebec, located just outside the old city wall. After time to refresh we will have dinner at a charming Quebec City restaurant.

Monday
Begin with breakfast at the hotel before setting off on a tour of Quebec City, including a stop at an historic church with our local guide. Lunch will be on your own in the lower village with its European feel. In the afternoon, travel outside Quebec City to see the spectacular Montmorency Falls. Enjoy the unique view from the Funicular, a local historic railway. Dinner will be on your own.

After breakfast visit Notre Dame de Quebec Cathedral in Quebec City. This parish is the oldest in North America with successive buildings on the same site since 1647. Transfer to the Quebec City Airport for Air Canada #8919 to Toronto at 1:05 pm, with a connection on Air Canada #509 at 4:10 in Toronto, arriving in Chicago at 4:52 pm.
