Best of Chicago Tour 

Day 1 

Learn about Chicago’s history, architecture, and culture as you are stunned by its beauty during a fully-narrated tour of the city. You will see the striking skyline, the exquisite lakefront, the Magnificent Mile, the historic Loop, outdoor sculptures, and the fabulous new Millennium Park. You will stop at Navy Pier, once used for shipping and now an entertainment and shopping complex. Cruise down the Chicago River for the most unique views of the city’s architecture. Visit the Field Museum to see Sue, the largest tyrannosaurus rex skeleton ever found, an Egyptian tomb, and many other notable exhibits. Travel in the world’s fastest elevators to the Sears Skydeck or Hancock Observatory, and to top off your day, enjoy dinner in a well known Chicago restaurant. 

Day 2 

Discover how hand signals are used to make deals in the pit at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME). Drive around historic Wrigley Field to hear why the Cubs always lose. Visit a beautiful indoor garden and drive through the Gold Coast area where many of Chicago’s rich and famous have their homes. See where Oprah lives, and Harpo Studios, where she tapes her show. You may choose to visit the Museum of Science and Industry with Colleen Moor’s Fairy Castle and go onboard the U505, or go to the Shedd Aquarium with its Wild Reef. Finish the day with dinner and a show. 

Day 3 

See the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright during a driving tour of Oak Park and have an exclusive tour of his Home and Studio or tour the Cuneo Mansion and take the Long Grove Confectionary factory tour. Visit the Art Institute of Chicago to see the famous miniature Thorne Rooms, the renowned La Grande Jatte, and the Modern Wing, the newest addition to this historic building. Discover the Ethnic Neighborhoods of Chicago and enjoy an ethnic dine-around with appetizers in Chinatown, entrée in Greektown and dessert in Little Italy.
