Day 1

Learn about Chicago’s history, architecture, culture and discover  fun facts about the Windy City during a fully-narrated tour with the best certified guide.  You will see the striking skyline, the lakefront, the Magnificent Mile, the historic Loop, quirky outdoor sculptures, and the fabulous new Millennium Park.  Visit Navy Pier, once used for shipping and now an entertainment and shopping complex.  Cruise down the Chicago River and visit the Field Museum to see Sue, the largest tyrannosaurus skeleton ever found, an Egyptian tomb and much more.  Enjoy dinner in a well-known Chicago restaurant.  Travel in the world’s fastest elevators to the Sears Skydeck or Hancock Observatory.

Day 2

Discover how hand signals are used to make deals in the Mercantile Exchange, drive past where Oprah tapes her show at Harpo Studios and see the famous Michael Jordan statue at the United Center. See the “Cell” where the World Series Champion White Sox play.  Visit the Museum of Science & Industry with Colleen Moore’s Fairy Castle, the U505 submarine and be absorbed in an Imax movie, or the Shedd Aquarium with Wild Reef  and a Marine Mammal Show.   Discover the Ethnic Neighborhoods of Chicago and enjoy cookies in Chinatown and Little Italy.  Finish the day with a student friendly dinner and a show or a ball game.

Day 3

See the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright during a driving tour of Oak Park and have an exclusive tour of his Home and Studio.  Find out why the Cubs always lose as you drive around historic Wrigley Field.  Visit Lincoln Park Zoo with its naturalistic exhibits and the Adler Planetarium with its new lunar exhibit or the Art Institute of Chicago to see American Gothic or the miniature Thorne Rooms.
